"I am a graduate student of Early American Literature at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.  A town where the spirit of the west has never died and people shoot each other over card games.

"I read way too much, but I am mostly influenced by Lovecraft, Moorcock, and Howard.  I love Solomon Kane.  He has to be the coolest character out there.

"This is my second publication.  My first being the short story "Subway Man" for Almost Normal Comics and Other Oddities (http://almostnormalcomics.tripod.com/index.htm).  I also write two comic books with Ben Ferarri for Earthbound Productions (http://earthboundcomics.com/) -- Sleepbrringer about a longhunter in 1800's America and Shots Fired about a small town police officer.
