"Sean Ellis enjoys a lifelong love affair with adventure.   As a teenager, he pursued the elusive pirate legend that inspired the film The Goonies (yes, there is a grain of truth to it) and combed the Pacific coast for buried treasure.  He has searched for Mayan ruins in the jungles of Honduras and the Seven Cities of Cibola in the American Southwest.

"More recently, he has taken up competitive mountain biking and competed in several off-road triathlons.  He resides in the shadow of Mount Saint Helens where he serves in the Army National Guard and daily experiences his greatest adventure: fatherhood.
